FLORIDA STATE REQUIREMENT DETAILS FOR REAL ESTATE PRE-LICENSING EDUCATION

Hours Required by the State: 63 hours (salesperson) and 60 hours (broker)

Pre-Licensing Course Final Exams: The courses' final exams must be passed with a minimum of 70%. Students failing the Commission-prescribed end-of-course examination must wait at least 30 days from the date of the original examination to retest. Within one year of the original examination, a student may retest a maximum of one time. Otherwise, students failing the end-of-course examination must repeat the course prior to being eligible to take the end-of-course examination again.

State Licensing Exam: The licensing exam is administered by PearsonVue. Registration for the state licensing exam is an entirely separate process from proctoring for your course final exam. For instructions to register for your state licensing exam and further information, please click here.

Expiration Date of Course: The Pre-Licensing courses expire six (6) months after the date of purchase.Students may also elect to re-enroll for 50% of the current retail price of the course. Extensions or reactivations cannot be granted beyond the six (6) months expiration timeframe.

Certificates: Once your certificate of course completion will become available to download. REAL Uiversity will provide students with an electronic certificate of completion, upon completion of the course. Certificates will remain in your account for a minimum of five (5) years, should you need additional copies. Please refer to your license application to determine if you need to submit your certificate of completion with your license request.

Reporting: The state does not require schools to report qualifying course completions. Students will submit their certificate of completion with their license application.
